Stevens West was born on October 7 September, 1986. Her most well-known roles
include her roles as Ashleigh Howard in the ABC Family series Greek
(2007-2011), Maxine in the NBC sitcom The Carmichael Show (2015-2017) as well
as Claire Davis in the CBS comedy Happy Together (2018-2019). She has also been
in movies The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), 22 Jump Street (2014) and Jessabelle
(2014). She played the main role in the role of Maya in the comedy film Love Jacked.
Stevens West was conceived Amber Dawn Stevens in Los Angeles. She is the
daughter to former model Beverly Cunningham, and radio announcer Shadoe
Stevens. Stevens is the younger sibling of Chyna and also an older paternal
half-brother called Brad. Stevens is multi-ethnic and has been born to a
Caucasian mother and an African-American father. His mother is also Comanche.
Stevens West is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School. She appeared in
television commercials for Old Navy Verizon and Logitech at the beginning of
her career. Stevens West made her acting debut in the episode Complete Savages
in 2005. Stevens West started playing Ashleigh Howard on the ABC Family
comedy-drama TV series Greek in 2007. In a review released soon after the first
episode of the show, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette called the show
"light-hearted entertaining" and "authentic" as The New
York Times claimed that Greek "captures the essence of the hedge-fund era
like nothing else." The show was cancelled with four seasons. She has also
appeared in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) and Fired Up (2008).
